                                                    STEELWAY FENSECURE

The following photographs were submitted by Laura Eddowes and were recently found in the company archives of Steelway Fensecure and are from the 1930's/1940's. Please see the following link for information on the history of the company: http://www.steelway.co.uk/history.php

The first two photographs each show two men from St John's Ambulance and the other gentlemen could have been the company's owners. The third photograph shows members of St John's Ambulance and the others show people who worked for Steelway as it was then known. The company's address was Queensgate Works, Monmore Green, Wolverhampton. It was also associated with J Brockhouse and merged with F Hammond in 1931. The company made and still makes hand rails, ladders and open mesh flooring.

If you recognise anyone please contact me, or if you know anyone who may have worked for the company at that time, please let them know about these photographs.

Laura Eddowes of Steelway Fensecure Ltd has kindly submitted a further three photographs from the company archives. They were taken in the 1930's or 1940's by Bennett Clark who was a local photographer.

The gentleman in the photographs could have worked for T. T. Bladon & Sons Ltd from whom Steelway may have bought weed burners.

The following photograph may have been taken in the yard at Monmore Green. If you can identify this gentleman or help in any way with any of the photographs, please send an email to info@bcgfh.co.uk
