                                        KUDOS HOUSE FACES DEMOLITION

Kudos House, on the corner of Priory Road and Ednam Road, Dudley, is a listed two-storey Edwardian building having been built in 1864. Yet again, there is a possibility that a wonderfully historic building and local landmark will disappear under the bulldozer if the Council accept the plans put forward by Dudley College.

The college has multi-million pound plans to build two new campuses in the town centre. It is deplorable that it should even be considered when this is a conservation area.

Please see this article for more information:

A council spokesman has said that "Site notices will be put up this week and people will have three weeks to make representations."

Please make your views known because these wonderful buildings which are part of our heritage can NEVER be replaced.
