Today sees the re-opening of the Mushroom Green chain shop which dates back to the 1850's. There will be demonstrations of chain making between 2.30 - 5pm.
It is wonderful that these skills are being preserved for future generations and we extend our best wishes to Luke and Natalie who have learnt the art of chain making and restored the building which we photographed last year and is shown below.
The next dates for 2011 are given below:
Sunday 10 April, 2pm until 5pm.
